How to fix loose snap button

Different types of Apparel Buttons may have different uses. For example, we can always find Jeans Eyelets, Custom Metal Eyelet, Jeans Brass Rivets, Jeans Button on jeans. And because of its simplicity, Snap button tapes can be found on many different types of clothes, including pants, shorts, tops or jackets. The use of the button is very simple because all you have to do is snap the sides of the button together. But sometimes it will loosen or fall off the clothes, which will affect the use of clothes. In fact, fixing a loose snap is very easy, and we can do it.

First we need to prepare some tools and materials. To secure your snaps, you need to prepare a pencil, straight pin, sewing needle, thread and sewing scissors.

After preparing the materials, we can repair the button. The first step we need to do is to pull out all the loose threads surrounding the button. The Snap fastener tape will no longer be attached on either side of the fabric after you remove the thread. Use your pencil and lightly draw on your garment a mark where the Snap Button was so you sew it on in the right place.

Next, pass the double thread through the pinhole and make a knot at the end .The top snap button needs to be connected to a pin, so put a small pin in the spot where you made a mark for the top snap button and put the snap button on the pin. You will then use your needle and thread to sew between the holes around the top snap button. Once you have sewn thread around the entire button, tie a little knot near the button and then pull the needle through to the other side of the fabric to tie a larger knot. This larger knot will be hidden and will keep the button in place.

Once you have finished the top side of the snap button, repeat the entire process on the bottom side. It is important to make sure that the top and bottom buttons are perfectly aligned so they snap together when you are wearing your garment. Pretty simple, right? Try it yourself, you can do it.
