In all button products, the superior function of metal buttons is irreplaceable by any other kind. In the manufacturing process of metal buttons, the design and manufacturing level of special equipment and molds are the key factors affecting product quality. At present, metal buttons mainly include: gold buttons, silver buttons, copper buttons, alloy buttons, etc.

1. Gold buttons. Gold is one of the earliest metals used by humans. Before copper, tin, lead, iron, and zinc, humans had discovered gold mines in nature. Gold has always been regarded as the most precious metal in our traditional culture. Buttons made of gold have gone beyond civilian use and become a jewellery or luxury symbolizing wealth and status.

2. Silver buttons. Sterling silver is a beautiful white metal that has an excellent reflection of natural light. The common design forms of modern silver buttons are: block geometric buckle, die-casting / embossed buckle, etched engraving buckle and decorative craft button. The manufacturing process of the decorative craft button is more complicated. It is made of smelted silver. Silver bars or silver wires are made with exquisite patterns by pressing, engraving and other processes, and then the decorative effects of dots, lines, and surfaces are produced on the button surface by coiling, stacking, inlaying, and injection molding.

3. Copper buttons. Copper was one of the earliest metals discovered and used by humans. Pure copper is soft and easy to bend and deform, so it is often mixed with other metals into copper alloys. Adding tin to copper can be made into copper-tin alloy----bronze; the alloy of copper and zinc is called brass; the alloy with nickel and arsenic is called white copper. The performance of copper alloy is generally better than pure copper, and buttons are often made of copper alloy. Therefore, there are different colors.

4. Alloy buttons. The alloy of zinc, copper, aluminum, tin, etc., is the most important raw material for current metal buttons. Not only do they have a simulated light for viewing, they should not be rusted or oxidized, and they have good firmness. Alloy buttons can change color and gloss by controlling alloy composition. Appearance can be sprayed, locally polished, polished and other methods to make antique distressed effect. Etching, relief, inlaying and other important metal processes are suitable for alloy buttons.
