Introduction of resin button production

We can see various types of buttons, such as bootstrap button, Jeans Button, plastic button, Snap Button, arrow button, etc. Today we are introducing resin buttons.

There are three kinds of raw materials used in resin buttons:

1. Unsaturated polyester resin. It is required that the viscosity of the resin is 10-20Pa.s, the heat release during curing is low, the gel time is short, the resin is easy to color, and the hardness increases slowly during the curing stage.

2. Curing agent: Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide is used as the initiator, and cobalt naphthalate is used as the accelerator.

3. Auxiliary materials include color paste, pearl powder, thixotropic agent, etc. Pearl powder is hexagonal flake crystal of carbon-type lead carbonate, which can be arranged in parallel during the molding process, showing pearl luster, and thixotropic agent is active silica, which is mainly used to prevent colors from penetrating each other.

The production of resin buttons is made by centrifugal casting. It is first made into plates or bars, then cut into buttons and cut bars to form button blanks, and then heat treated, scraped, scraped, milled, and finally punched. The following are the main varieties of resin buttons:

1. Magnetic buttons. Single color, no pattern, but can be made into various shapes.

2. Plane pearl button: The product is characterized in that the pearl brightness is the same on the entire button surface, like a mirror, bright in color, and looks very similar to pearl plexiglass buttons. Natural pearl buttons are mostly used for shirt buttons.

3. Moonlight buttons: The pearly arrangement on the surface of the buttons is corrugated, the pearly brightness is high, and the bright spots shine like cat eyes.

4. Rainbow buttons: This type of pearlescent buttons is characterized by irregular pearly arrangement on the surface and shows colorful effects. This type of pearlescent buttons is close to the pearlescent effect of natural shells, so it is called imitation shell buttons.

5. Stick flower and mixed flower buttons: The surface has delicate and smooth lines, natural colors, and natural bamboo and wood texture. This type of button is mainly used on some casual clothes.
