So, how to prevent metal buttons from rusting?

Finding the factors that may cause rust can fundamentally prevent rust. Since rust is caused by factors such as moisture, high temperature, oxygen, sulfur dioxide, chloride, and dust, rust prevention is to avoid contact with these factors. At present, corresponding anti-rust work has been done in advance during the production of buttons. Such as: Add some elements in the metal smelting, improve the ability of the metal to resist the erosion of the external medium; Corrosion-resistant surface treatment of metal products, to form a surface conversion layer or add a surface coating; Cathodic protection, that is, the use of rust inhibitor Gas phase corrosion inhibitors, peelable plastics, and sealing methods temporarily isolate the metal surface from the external environment, and can also be successfully removed when the metal products are used. This method can be used for up to several years.
