In the 13th century, European began to apply buttons in their life. The early buttons are mainly stone buttons, wood buttons and cloth buttons.Cloth buttons were popular with ordinary people, while gold, sliver, copper, ivory and gemstone buttons were adored by nobles. After the the industrial revolution in the 18th century, metal buttons gradual became the main character in market due to the mechanization of mass production. During the 1930s to 1940s, synthetic resin materials began to be used in button manufacturing.
In the 21st century, unsaturated resin buttons are regarded as the leading products in market due to their advantages in color variety, shape flexibility, simulation ability and physical properties.
